I’m a parent. A mom, to be accurate. A mom of three young boys, ages eight, four, and one, to be specific. And I stay at home. And I like to write about my kids, which is why I started this blog.

But then it struck me: there’s more to me than that. Some days it doesn’t seem like there’s much more than that. But there is. I’ve recently begun writing about my experience with a serious childhood illness and facial deformity (those posts are here). And I’m not terribly vocal about it, but I’m pretty politically and socially aware. And then, of course, there are my varied and fascinating hobbies. And my yoga pants. And, um, my kids….

Okay, so a lot of times it is about parenting. But sometimes it’s not. I think you probably understand.
